Medhelan is the ancient name of Milan, a city founded by the Insubrian Celts, and means “sacred place” precisely because, in the center of a large clearing that opened up among the woods, a spring gushed forth that the Druids considered magical.

And our Medhelan Bed and Breakfast - Cologno Monzese aims to be a truly welcoming and magical place!

Everything inside speaks of us, of our roots and our passions, starting from the name that evokes the ancient history of these places.

Each room is named after a tree, as trees were sacred to the Celts, and has its own unique style: nothing is left to chance, and every detail is taken care of down to the smallest detail to offer you a welcoming and personalized stay.

Our facility is strategically located: close to the subway, which takes you to the heart of Milan in 20 minutes, Mediaset, San Raffaele Hospital, Linate Airport, the Novegro Exhibition Center, and the Città Studi, San Raffaele, and Bicocca Universities. This strategic location also means that, despite being well-connected to many important services, we are still in a quiet, residential area, just a few minutes' walk from one of Milan's canals, the Martesana, which you can explore by bike or on foot along a path that connects the Adda River almost to the center of Milan. Nearby, you can also relax in the shade of the tall trees of Parco Lambro, a large park suitable for families, bike rides, relaxation, and outdoor play.
